| I have read the topics about only one side cooling in a car. But my heater and a/c isnt blowing right. The blower is on and air is getting threw just at the wrong temp. The heat blows whatever temp it is outside on the drivers side and a/c/ the same. Passenger side works fine.
I have looked underneath the black plastic shroud by your feet. for the vent door actuator. It has a green and white sticker on it and is located close to the center console about 12 inches south of the gas pedal. Funny thing is I cant find it. Does anyone has a picture of what exactly I am looking for?

| You are describing a problem with the HVAC actuator motors, exactly the same problem as only one side cooling. | |

| Didn't we say something in a diff post about vent air on driver and A/C on the passenger possibly being a low refrigerant charge? | |

No, don't think so. When charge gets too low, AC compressor clutch is released. Then air through vents is fairly close to outdoor ambient plus any heat requested by the HVAC head and passenger tamp control, give or take some heating due to quirks in how the duct runs are laid out. It can *easily* feel like vent air on driver and AC on passenger, but it is really not because the compressor's not running. Albertj

| Mine does it with a full charge, Plus during the winter it was air outside temp while the heat was running on the same side. | |

| in order to see the actuator, u must remove the knee bolster, console and trim plate to access it. In other words, everything underneath the steering wheel needs to come out. The actuator is on the LHS of the radio up near the IP. I'd post a diagram of it, but the one I have doesn't show the actuator, just an exploded view of the dash.
The link posted above has some great pictures........
