| I know this isnt the for sale forum...
Just wanted to say that if anyone is looking for audio stuff like speakers, amps, subs, wiring- I sell it.
I like to sell American Bass and Massive Audio although there are other brands I do carry.
I just added a forum to my website, www,basstronics.net
Its a place to discuss the products I carry, questions, sales/specials etc.
I intend to list some products eventually on the store front side of things.

| Thanks Ryan, I'll be in touch as the weather is getting better. One of my intentions is to finally do something with the sound system in the car. My brother is shipping some good used amps and a bunch of wiring and such. As soon as I get the equipment and all the written specifications I'd like your input and i am sure I will need more stuff to do it right.
Although I am leaning toward the path that AA took and use the OEM head unit and power all speakers and components with external amps. Would like to mount an equalizer also just to be able to tweak the sound for this cabin, speaker, sub and amp combo. I realize once everything is dialed in I probably won't be using the parametric equalizer for adjusting sound but that's OK.
I have 2 different set's of front component set-up's new (to compare) and a couple of different idea's as to what to use in the rear deck, if anything, and I have a matching Sub and custom cabinet - all coming from my Brother. This is all equipment I bought 10 years ago for what i thought at the time was a high end system after doing many days, weeks, and about a continuous month's worth of research before I pulled the trigger. I then bought a brand new extended cab pick up and gutted the interior and performed a very clean install with a head unit and matching hard wired 10 disk changer. I've since sold the truck to him for nothing with the understanding I wanted all the sound equipment back. Anyway I told him to keep the head unit and disk changer and just power the speakers from the head unit and ship me all the amps, 12" sub and cabling. I know I will need more equipment to put all this stuff in the Riviera and would like your advice once I can give you the spec's of what I have, which should be in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for offer and look forward to doing business with you. Rick

http://americanbassusa.com/front/showcontent.aspx?fileid=229 or http://massiveaudio.com/store/product.php?productid=16153&cat=265&page=1
How about this? http://americanbassusa.com/front/showcontent.aspx?fileid=183
We can do this.
Let me know Rick or better yet keep me in mind.
As for your EQ situation I would strongly suggest a 30 band unit. You will also want access to a microphone and an RTA Program to set it up properly.
I also carry alarms, remote starts, HIDs, LED DRLs and other stuff as well. I got cheap stuff, I got competition grade stuff... So I can usually fit most budgets.
The best part is I dont do this for a living. So I dont need to make much money on it. Im happy doing it for basically my time and a few extra bucks. So I give the best deals I can the first time.

| I never said anything about Blowing My Trunk Apart, But....your offer to help sounds great. As I said I'll be sure to pick your brains on the products available. It has been since 1999 that I researched all the products, components available. I did too much research the last time. I drove my self crazy, not so much over price but trying to determine cubic feet of cabin space and the necessary amp sizes and various speaker combo's, etc. I not only drove me crazy but a couple of the guys at the local shops that sold to the competition crowd as well as the middle of the road guy.(Me) I taught myself a lot and got help along the way, but this time I am just going to re-use the Amps and possibly the sub woofer, we'll see. | |

| Ya thats the MSRP on Massive's site. I can do much better on pricing, MUCH.
Massive is decent stuff but not near worth the price they "think" its worth.
I wouldnt spend $900 for a subwoofer, ever. Insane...

| I might be looking for a touch-screen head unit with nav hookup possibilities in the future (for the Regal). Will hit you up so see what you have. | |

| Well to be honest I dont get very good deals on head units. There are some higher end units I can get a decent price on- but its select. | |
