| Alright boys I figured i'd do an "official" build log over here just to show you guys what im up to. Im getting ready for to compete in a bassrace in taylor, mi @ gibraltor on july 16th. There is also a burnout and bikini contest It starts at 10am so come by and support a fellow riv member if you live close by. Should be a good time. Bassrace ,for you guys that dont know, is an auto sound competition format based on contestant skill and Sound Pressure Level (SPL). In Bass Race, contestants first participate in a qualification process where each participant's SPL is measured. Contestants with similar scores are then grouped together for the elimination portion of the competition. During the elimination rounds, contestants face off in a head-to-head format. The objective is to have the loudest AVERAGE score while playing music without "breaking out" of the class they originally qualified in. This is the fundamental basis for a Bass Race event. The classes are 120.0 dB to 129.9 dB, 130.0 dB to 139.9 dB, 140.0 dB to 149.9 dB, 150.0 dB to 159.9 dB. Im competing the the 130-139.9 class. There is Dbdrag which is basically to see who is louder but in certain classes that have restrictions to have many subs you have, how many batteries, etc. that you have. Its only $50 to compete in both, so we shall see On to the build!! Equipment Im gonna use: HU: JVC KW-AVX740 4 ch. | Any real reason for running 0 gauge, or did you just get a good buy on it? From my experience there isn't much out there you can't run with 2 gauge. Are you going bandpass, or just ported, I 'm assuming not sealed. If you could massage a dual 12" bandpass in there you could do very well! | |

oh boy. U should of seen me try and fit a single 15" 4cu.ft box in the back of the rivy, TWICE. Waste of $70 on wood, smh. but the new box is just gonna be ~3.75cuft. box with either 2 4" areoports or 1 6", just because ive never made a box with areoports yet I use the 0ga because im too poor to buy wielding wire right now lol. bigger the wire, better the current = moar power pic of the old box with the 05 RE audio XXX, the SQL monster(traded it for the double din) got the alt a little peek at my dads roadrunner Jvc double din bluetooth mic New kicker amp that i got in a trade, painted the sides amp rack and battery | |
