i thought i would share some close up pics of my exterior mods. high temp paint is about $6 a can and easy to use. its the subtle things that set it apart.
here is a close up of my wheel/painted caliper. i did all 4 red about a year ago. its held up nicely but i want to repaint again.

some shots of my ractive tips, i wanted them to stick out just a little bit so they could stand out and be seen. me and a friend welded the first one on, and then we had problems aligning the second one up. so i took it to a shop with one tip on and the other side cut back at the muffler lol.

I also painted my STB red along with the pcv cover and did some red stripes on the engine cover (that i dont use) like the bonie SSEI's. My next project is to paint the valve covers black with red stripes where it is recesed.

Your car looks good!

I kind of cheated under the hood, I replaced the washer and overflow tanks, I get pretty good prices at a dealership I deal with and they didn't cost too much anyway. On the '95 I took the alt. and brackets off and polished the aluminum with a cloth wheel. I did the lower control arms on the rear also, but they don't show very much.

I like the tailpipes on yours, I saw some on eBay a while back and screwed up and didn't get them. I even saw some that were advertised as "Black Chrome" and screwed up again, still looking.
Did you use washers on your STB or modify the ends? I'm thinking about putting a couple of joggles on the mounting brackets so I don't have to use washers. I think I'm going to go with silver on the '99 and if I can get it to fit on the '95 I'll probably do it black.

I got screwed when I got mine. They told me they would be the recessed "R" when I ordered them, then when they came in they weren't. They told me there was trademark problems was why they couldn't get them, they jerked me around for a year and sent me some that the chrome was already popping off of, said it was nearly impossible to chrome plastic! I have had a chrome sticker of the "R" made since then, don't have pictures, it looks pretty good just not recessed!
