fold down back seat

ok i was wondering if anyone has made there seat fold up and down and if so did you remove the cross bars behind the seat and how did you do it

you should ask an engineer but to remove those braces you would have to add weight. You would have to add "C" shaped reinforcements to both sides of the opening and hinge plates to replace the wire loops at the seat base.

Depending on what you are passing thru the opening you could leave the braces there and just upholster them with auto carpet.

i compete in car audio shows and the box will be firing in the cab of the car completely sealed off from the truck and i need the seat to still go back into the locked position
