| I replaced my supercharger belt about 2 months ago and ever since it likes to walk about 1/3 the way off the idler pulley. Before it move towards the drivers side and I wouldn't have a problem with it. Now when I put the belt on the inner ribs of the pulley, it'll jump to the outer ribs and part of it will be off of the idler pulley. It worries me as I don't want it to slip off while I'm going down the road. Also, when I move it to the inner ribs the belt will squeak until it fixes itself. Anybody got any ideas? | |

| From the front, look under the car and verify the belt is correctly seated on the crank pulley: _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

The idler or tensioner pulley, maybe both, need replaced. Easy way to do that is get a replacement tensioner from rockauto.com. If you tap the pulley along the axis it probably moves in and out. Bearing is shot. | |

| It's on the crank pulley correctly. That was the first thing I checked. I'll check the other pulleys. | |

| I do know if you're running an INTENSE hub with INTENSE pulley, the belt should use the innermost grooves for best alignment. Did you change anythjng else when you did the belts? How did the old belt look? _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
