| I think those wheels and the who, where, how of the center caps needs its own sticky or FAQ write-up. I bet a lot of folks would buy those SE-14 rims if they knew where to buy the caps from and had a template/design they could replicate!

| Hmmm maybe I should write one up, Al. Enough people seem to like them! Nothing hurts to have it as an option!
Taking a second look, the website I got the domed stickers for the center cap is shut down. I'm sure I'll be able to source something.
Sooooo finally an update on my car. I wanted to wait until after the holidays to order stuff because of potential shipping craziness, but i ordered stuff! I have 1.8 Yella Terra rockers coming from Intense, and a PLOG, ceramic crossover, and IAT extension coming from ZZP. Also, clean and shiny new fuel injectors from Aaron here. I'll save mine for a rainy day. I also have a brand new EGR bracket and stove pipes to install.
I'm hoping my little bundle of parts will get me 20+ horsepower and bring the Riv up to more modern standards. I won't be installing for a little while as I'm moving next week, but it'll be worth the wait since my new house includes a 2,000 square foot garage with a lift! I'll be able to do all my work and projects in a nice toasty building in a rural area.
Any other suggestions while I'm taking all this stuff apart? I already have a Hogan downpipe on the car and the spark plugs and wires are 10,000 miles old.

| I don't have any real pictures of the inside of the garage yet. It's so massive it's hard to get a good angle or so. We're settling into the new house nicely, the house garage is all cleaned out and the Riv has a happy warm home every night.
Somewhat of an update on the car though. I've had no real problems except my 'minor' trans leak a few weeks ago. I have all of my parts and gaskets ready to mod the car when it warms up a little more. I have all the parts listed above plus a new O2 sensor. I know fuel trims get a little funny in the Winter but mine swing REALLY far. Like +/- 10. It just turned 95,000 miles this morning so I figure it's not bad preventative maintenance, and it's easy.

| An open garage and a lift...if I had this instead of a rainy driveway and jack-stands I'd be able to get sooooo much done. Jealous man. Awesome space! | |

| Oh wow, thanks guys! I really mean to make anyone jealous, I suppose I should have thought of that beforehand . Karma - No lol. Believe me, the 'work' garage I had at my dad's place was great but there's things you just cannot do easily without a lift. So this property fell onto my lap and Alyssa and I went for it! Too good of an opportunity. So Dad is renting garage usage from me...might as well with all that space! Scott - it's still missing most of my stuff too lol. I want to move all my Riviera and Lesabre parts over, but I'll save space for you! Thanks Randall! I'm really happy with those wheels I got - i can't wait to get them back on this year! They make the car handle so much better and look so different. I thought the garage was bigger too but I measured it at 40x50! The previous owner really didn't know anything (he didn't build it) . Evan - Funny you mention that, I didn't notice that until right before I read all these posts lol. I wish I could tint my tails even a little but the cops around here are extremely strict with tint. Looks good on a black car though . There's not a lot of plans for the garage though. The biggest thing was getting it clean and organized somewhat. We still have to remove the wood in the corner but I have a barn to put it in where it will be dry and safe. Once that is gone we're going to install a second man door in that corner and make a lounge area. I have an extra microwave and small fridge, and I'm going to build a couch on wheels out of my '95 Riviera's rear seats. I have a nice stereo to set up too! So like I said, I think a meet in the Summer is in the works. I've been wanting to for a year or so. And if anyone needs to do any work while they're here, there's plenty of room! Thanks again everyone...I am truly lucky and blessed and will take care of this place! | |

If there is enough lead-time, I could possibly make it down. The Rivs would be too much gas, but we could bring the bikes. Perhaps as incentive to others I could do up an m62 and m90 to raffle off to attendees to help pay for beer. (If I can find enough time to do them. Late summer?) Keep us all posted! _________________

| Karma...I really like that idea! That would be so cool. I wouldn't mind winning that M90 if we did that haha. I'm really going to consider it...either way it would be nice to have you down here! There seems to be a good interest in a meet here. I'll make a new thread in the next few days to get more ideas and pick dates. I did a good bit of work on the Riv today. I finally had a good amount of time to install the PLOG and ceramic crossover, as well as the new EGR bracket and tubes. One EGR pipe had a small crack and the rear one was leaking at the rear manifold connection, which seems to happen every once in a while. I didn't take any chances and used a good RTV to seal up the pipes. I am in shock as to how bad the stock front manifold really is. I'm glad I did this job. It all went together quite smoothly, which was nice for a change. I made myself some room and took out the radiator fans and throttle body. It make working much easier. I haven't fired the car up yet because I want to let that RTV cure a little, but I'll report back tomorrow. I can't imagine there being much power gained, seeing as I already have a Hogan downpipe. BUT...I still have my 1.8 rockers to do.... | |
