Does anyone know what the XCO # on the Glove Box Copy card that was shipped with the car means? I was curious as to how many Rivieras were manufactured that year and if perhaps I could find out the number my Riviera was in manufacturing.

This page may help:
https://rivperformance.editboard.com/t6444-faq-how-rare-is-your-riviera-or-other-gm-car

Check the index or do a search for terms. Use advanced search and within that, use the Google search.

I googled the xco number and came up with some interesting hits. The first took me to 1967 to 1969 cameros that would be shipped overseas in pieces and reassembled with the xco numbers (export car order number). The other find was the ID card that would follow the car through assembly where each department would stamp these numbers. The GM archives only go back to the 1970s so I think any further literature may be non existent. thanks for the info.
