| For a number of years I waffled back and forth between doing a perf build of my non-original Buick 350 in my 68 GS350, vs simply doing a 455 engine swap. In fact I invested over $3k in parts alone for the 350 build, then resold it all when I had a change of heart to go the BBB route. Last fall I found a deal I couldn't pass up on a newly rebuilt 455 from a guy I knew down in IA, and it's been in my garage since then. This summer I've finally found some time to get a start on the swap project. The 350 is almost ready to come out, which will be followed by an engine bay detailing and repaint. The 455 may not actually find it's way into the eng bay until next spring, as I have no heat in the garage, and may run out of time once the eng bay is ready. | |

| Not going to heat my open-ceiling garage in a ND winter with a propane heater. What really sucks will be having to park the Riv outside in winter again. | |
