i was changing my exhaust manifold gaskets because rear one blow out. but when i loosened up alll the boltsa pulled it off there was no gasket on the front or rear manifold. did they come like that from the factory?

I think so. A few of us have discovered no gaskets when the manis come off. Mine came with the gaskets, but it's a 1998 (series II SC), so they may have done it differently in '95. I'm sure there are Series I gaskets available for not much $. I'd find a set before reinstalling the new manifold.

That actually used to be the norm. All the Buick engines in the late 60's-early 70's did not use exhaust manifold gaskets, and sealed perfectly well. Rebuilding one today, it's usually recommended to resurface first, unless you're going to use gaskets.

My 3800 had a gasket on the front.

yeah found gasket for 10 bucks but just noticed that there is a crack on the front manifold pipe. so taking both sides off so i could switch it outwith new one.
