Need of a mechanic for my SC 1995 Riviera Detroit MI area

I know a guy here in Toledo who specializes in ONLY Eaton blowers. A real specialist, if you ask me.
I got my boost bypass valve from him last summer.

I can put an end to this trhread. Five hours of labor and 63 dollars out of pocket expenses and the SC is fixed.

As you all said, it was the coupler, it had a bit more than an eighth inch of play in it.

So, Thank you, thank you, thank you, my Riv is back on the road!

A friend and his neighboor did the work. They had never worked on an SC before and were curious to see how it all fit togther. Of course the details you provided on the R&R of the SC from the engine and how to service the SC helped a lot.

Yeah, it was really nice cause my wife and I were headed to Syracuse to visit our son and they did the work while I was gone.

The only unexpected occurence was while testing for the rattle after the work the car was in the driveway and when placed into gear and depressing the break pedal a brake line that was badly rusted blew. I guess it's a good thing I didn't take the car on the road trip after all.

wow! great that ya got it fixed. now you can drive by the mechanics shop and thumb yer nose at him!
