Hi everybody. Finally took the time to member up after several hours of browsing the site. I bought a 1997 normally aspirated Riv before Christmas. It was LOVE at first test drive!
I have got 25.1mpg on my first tank of gas. I love the way it has handled the snowy and icy roads . I made the winter mistake of putting the driver's window down to get the mail - and it stayed down. I had to buy a new switch through rockauto.com and a couple of days later, the car is back to fully functional. So I've already done some tweaking and wrenching...
Any way, I have definitely "got the bug" with this car. I can understand the excitement of owning a Riviera. I have been noticing their unique lines for quite some time and didn't know that I'd actually own one this day.
I look forward to learning and sharing more of this experience with this "new classic" American car!
