That is one nice warranty. How many miles do you drive per year?

Hahahaha piggy back ride is the way to save on fuel costs.

My car had too many last year. Glad to see it's off to get fixed up. That warranty is perfect with you putting on 10K a year.

The 4t65e transmission is alot better than the earlier 4t60 but still prone to many of the same problems any front drive would encounter. ...before you do anything scan for a code before they pull the tranny or crack the case it could be as simple as a solenoid which can be fixed without pulling the tranny. but there are sealing rings and pistons that wear out just like in an engine, specify that your builder use only a Transtar master rebuild kit with a Transtec seal kit if you need a converter I suggest Dacco. It sounds like you trust your rebuilder but I can make some calls and help you locate a good one in your area if needed... thats probably the most important part of any rebuild...good luck!
