A couple Questions

Anyone have problems with their security light coming on ? Mine randomly comes on....Also when its cold out I have to let the car warm up to get it out of park....doesn't happen if its around 50 degrees but any colder I have to wait a couple minutes...should I be worried ? Thanks

How many miles on your car? When light comes on while your driving does it act different?
I know there are hard and soft codes but all should be stored in there. A good scanner will identify. I may be wrong but if your light comes on while your driving and then goes off, it may mean you need an oil change or service of some sort. There are some great guys on here to walk you through this.

A security light coming on means there is a problem with the Vehicle Anti Theft System (V.A.T.S.). Try cleaning your key and the ignition lock key way with some rubbing alcohol. That is the first step.

only had that problem once... but my light will come on some times when its cold out and i close the door. if I don't notice and walk away the alarm will start making noise. I have found that to prevent that I need to slam the drivers door hard... only when it's really cold though.
