Does anyone know the diameter of the stock sway bar?

I'm in the process of replacing some parts for my suspension. I wanted to replace the sway bar bracket to a Poly version. I just wasn't sure what the diameter is. I would say 30mm but would it be possible to use a 28.5 mm version? I'm just planning what to get tommorow.

Looking at this spec sheet for the 97, it looks like 1.04" (kinda hard to read).

That would make it 26 mm or so. The stock rear bar is 17 mm, I believe. The Addco bars are 32 mm, and 22 mm.

Thanks Larry, it fit great. I ended up gettin the Energy suspension Swaybar brackets with the grease fittings. They fit much tighter than the original brackets and look shinier. I got to finish up on some other stuff then Im gonna install the endlinks for the sway bar. I purchased the Energy suspension links as well. Next on the list is the Strut tower brace..
