Universal device dash mount for 95-99 Riviera, SiruisXM, iPod, phone, etc

I was shopping around for a satellite radio mount, etc and found the following bracket that is specifically designed to fit our 1995-99 Rivieras.

For devices that can't be adapted elsewhere, this seems like a good looking and sturdy bracket. It is about $40 from Crutchfield.

Also take a look at pro-clip. They make vehicle and device specific mounts and I really like them. I've had one of their mounts in every car since my Riv.

For something you dont pay attention to, it might be an OK spot. But for anything with a H.U.D., this would be a terrible spot to mount.

I keep device mounted right by my rear view mirror. That's how I'll keep it until I mod the dash for a tablet.
