Under Body Coating Empty
PostSubject: Under Body Coating   Under Body Coating EmptyFri Oct 25, 2013 5:08 pm

Yo yo yo.

Anyone have the under body of their Riv sprayed with sealant/plastidip/that R stuff to protect it?

I have this near mint Florida Riv and I am thinking of ways to protect it from the salt and weather n stuff.

Any feedback on the effects/process/etc.?

It's an investment I am thinking of doing  before I start putting this Florida Riv through Ohio winters indefinitely.

study

Dd you buy a new(er) one?

I don't have any recommendation on the undercoating, but mine has something similar to "light duty" bed liner as an undercoating sprayed up in the wheel wells, etc. It looks good and seems to offer some protection.

mud flaps could help with the body a little bit from salt hitting the side, i live in utah so i know what your situation is like, best things to do is wash your car every 2 weeks, gets all the salt off and make sure you go to one that gets the undercarriage of the car.

Charlie, do you have a Zeibart near you? Zeibart is a pretty good product from what I have seen. I'd hate to see that Florida beauty get a salt bath. Or just get a winter car.
