| Hi guys this has gone on for awhile now it's just getting a tad bit worse. So when I turn left going about 30 mph or above just a slight turn. The car will slightly vibrate, and make a sound deep base, wuuuub wuuuub wuuuub, on and off but the car is smooth going right, sense it's getting worse I decided to find the prob, I've replaced my passenger front wheel hub, other then that my car is perfect with wheel bearings. It does it with the gas on and off makes no difference. Any ideas? Thanks | |

| So you replaced the wheel bearing and it still makes that noise? My next advice would be to replace the driver side bearing unless you know for sure it has already been done recently. The next suspect would probably be an axle. | |

| One of your tires might be bad. Its possible the belts are shifted and they don't make any noise until you put pressure on it (like turning). I'd inspect the RF tire REAL well. | |

| I would guess it's the other wheel bearing, mine did the same thing right side wheel bearing low pitch grinding all the time left side was whoop whoop first during turn then all the time until it was changed. | |

You'd have to host it somewhere else and post a link to it. Dropbox will host it for you.

| I still think it could be a hub bearing. Our lesabre had the left rear making that same noise and it progressed over time until it wasn't just in the cornering. Would be good to try and listen with your head swiveling to the different corners of your car while the noise is happening to at least see if it's definitely coming from a side or if it's a broader sound purely from the front or rear | |

| I might try and find the noise by removing the wheel and then the caliper and then turning the wheel and listen for grinding or dragging. It sounds like a failing hub bearing. It might even be a ill fitting brake rattle clip but i doubt it.Usually bent rattle clips screech.but ya never know? | |

| I couldn't hear it. I agree with it being a bearing, if that's the condition for it. Jack the car 1 wheel at a time and push/pull hard at 12/6: oclock. How much play is there? I think you'll find one with significantly more than another.
Which bearing did you replace?

| Yes!! It has gotten worse where if I go straight it does it to, I just had it inspected and they said all wheel bearings are fine but I think u guys are right it's one of the wheels, if the sound is coming whenever I slightly turn left, which side should I I be looking at?
I replaced the passenger front

| Noise on a left turn would suggest passenger side bearing, but usually you need to corner with considerable force to load the bearing enough. Your video shows merging, not hard cornering. I wouldn't think it's a bearing based on that alone.
If you've had the wheels off recently, double check your wheel nuts are tight. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| I checked all the lug nuts, all nice and tight, its getting worse, sound is coming when I just even go straight. I will check my wheel bearings tomorrow. | |

| Can you switch your passenger side wheels to your drivers side to see if the noise switches sides? I would also check everything in the suspension and steering system and see if anything is loose or broken. What brand wheel bearing did you buy for the replacement? Not really sure what it could be, just throwing out some ideas. _________________ 1998 Supercharged Riviera - Custom CAI, Alpine spx-13ref, Infinity 6x9's, Alpine 4 Channel Amp, Kicker KX3, Silverstars, STB, Hawk Brake Pads, Monroe Air Shocks, KYB GR2

| Just a 60 dollar one from O Riley's, I'm going to switch the tires like u said, after that then I will retorque my wheel hub and see if that helps, also wiggle all my wheels and check all the steering to see if it's lose, and if no luck then only god knows haha | |

| It's fairly well known that cheap wheel bearings don't hold up in our cars. Not sure you solved anything by putting in a cheap bearing. But soon it will get worse, then you will be able to find it easily. | |

| I don't recall. I believe Timken were the primary 'decent' brand to get. They are about $90 from rockauto.com. I like the GM ones, but AC Delcos are about $180, which is worth two Timkens. I put ACDelcos in my car about 150K ago and they are still holding up well.
Rockauto also shows a Raybestos "Professional grade" but I have no idea what that means! (probably that it's made by Timken)
But the no-name ones made in China tend to really suck.
