| Chris, I don't know why but that 3rd gen looks more badass than normal and it's not the color. Is there anything different about it otherwise? | |

| Just a stock IROC at the moment. The ground effects are not on the sides yet in the picture and still aren't. I've just been working on getting it primered and back together as stock. Then I'll start working on modding it in the spring. | |

| Looking to get a second car within the next few months. Right now I'm really digging the C32 AMG, but I'm open to suggestions. Budget is about 10k and I want it to be similar to the Riv, as in leather heated seats, automatic climate control, basically an unsuspecting luxobarge. RWD and stick is preferred but not mandatory. Ideas? | |

They're alright, but price to performance and/or quality isn't as appealing as some other options (another Riviera with a mild build, LSx Camaros, etc). Never really was a huge FLM fan either...

Jbird I don't suspect too many people own that car (anymore) that aren't aware of its identity. It's funny when I went to the dealer and bought mine, I didn't even realize that the front and rear emblems had the 'saabaru' badges on them. I looked right past it. I'm doing some sound modding on the car this week. I've never been into touchscreen anything but it's the thing to have now and I felt it was appropriate for the car so I sold myself on it. I'm not regretting it This isn't done yet but I decided to go simple and get a self-powered bazooka sub so I could easily take it out if I need the cargo space. I'm not gonna have two in there like in the pic... there's a story to that After not being able to find a decent place to stick the bass knob in a more conventional way I decided to mill out a hole to install it in the console. It's very convenient there. After searching around I noticed STI's have a little badge there with the gear shift pattern. It was just free space to me.

| Getting the Jimmy winter ready, or at least up to my standards anyway. Both sets of Oil Cooler lines, both Engine mounts, new LF axle (has a bag wrapped around it and shredded the outer boot), rotor resurface, spark plugs, air filter, tires, and an oil change. There was also about 1" of crusty, oily sludge over everything from the years of leaking from the Cooler Lines....cleaned all that off. It only took a case and a half of Brake Cleaner lol. I NEVER want to do engine mounts in a 4.3L Jimmy/Blazer ever again. It's the biggest pain in the ass I think I've ever worked on as far as engine mounts are concerned. | |

| I've done enough work on my Gram's 4.3 S10 to know just by looking the mounts and spark plugs are going to be painful. Everything else I've done to her truck (water pump, thermostat, distributor, fuel lines, air filter, etc. ) has been very easy. I dread when I have to do the spark plugs. | |

| I did end up having to replace the Pressure Control Solenoid in the Aztek. Wow, what a difference. I really had no idea it was shifting as abnormally as it was. I also had to repair 3 wires that were rubbed bare in the main harness under the airbox (on top of trans). Thing drives perfectly now. Even the woman noticed it, and she's oblivious unless a light comes on the dash. Buttoned that up on Saturday, then went home and cleaned out the garage. Low and behold, the Camaro fits The exhaust clears the step by 1/4". So, now my garage has my '97 AND the Camaro in it. Yay. | |

Just a meme man. I know my roots.. Heck I've owned 2 rivieras since I had my modded one I owned for 4.5 years!! But.... This V is just a completely different class of car.. Shit I push a button and the electromagnetic suspension stiffens for sport mode, hit that button again and it softens for touring mode.. It's such a wild car .. Can't wait to get to throwing my parts on this car
