| Looks great, and yeah tint and black rims will do it. If you left the chrome unpainted, I'd recommend black rims with a silver lip, but since you blacked the chrome and headlights too go all black. | |

| I think all the mods you've done look great. And I LOVE the interior with that dash kit, really classy! | |

| Thanks guys!
Light output was not affected with the tinted headlights. I need to re-aim the highbeams though. They aim into the trees. LOL

| Hoping to get the windows tinted next week. I found a set of 18s near me that are black with the polished lip. Need to look at them tomorrow. If they are as nice as the guy says they are, I might get them.
And I told myself that this car was a beater and I wouldn't do any modding. LOL

| Excellent choice in wheels, Rick. You've really got good taste. You've got a design philosophy that works well on the Riv! | |

| So much for the "Winter Beater" Daily Driver concept. I'll take that any day. | |

| Thanks guys!
LOL about the winter beater idea. I just couldn't let that happen with this car. Everyday I drive it, I fall more in love with it. Definitely the most cushy ride of any car I've ever had.
The wheels were such an incredible deal on craigslist, I couldn't pass them up. $400 for them, tires, mcguard lugs, locks and key. They are in perfect condition and the tires have 2000 miles on them. Seemed like a no-brainer to me when the stock rims needed new tires anyway.
I'd like to lower it but don't want to screw with the way the car rides over bumps. I don't know if there is a lowering spring/strut combo that would give me the ride I'm looking for.
Can't wait to tint the windows. It's just a gorgeous car.

| SHIT, NO Really SHIT. I just paid more than that for tires that were supposed to correct a vibration issue and didn't. I needed a deal like that instead. Now I still have 16" ers and a vibration. F___K I'm getting very tired of this ride. I'll sell or trade for PAU. | |

| Hmmmm... If it's definitely not the tires then it's gotta be something else suspension related. I assume you've looked at all the common culprits (ie: inner/outer tie rods, axle, CAs, hubs, etc)? Balance makes a huge deal. If you are going to a bad shop, they may never get the balance right. So, that could still be your problem. Some tires never balance correctly without road force balance (there's a special machine that does it). The common static balance doesn't always correct vibration issues. It's been a long time since I last played with that kind of stuff so I'm a little rusty. If I can help, let me know. | |

If you're willing to spend $8-900 you can get 18's, wheels and tires, from Victoria Tire, but the tires will be Chinese.

Believe me, I'm no fan of Chinese goods It's the only way I could get a new set of rims and tires though. I researched the Nankang NS-II's and they seem to be o.k. I'd use them, but at the rate I drive they'll dry rot before half the tread is gone.

Thank you for the offer to help. You could help tremendously by selling me the 18" wheels and tires. I'll even consider to add a few extra bucks to sweeten the deal. When can I come down for the swap.? Huh, when.? Huh, soon I hope. Your an awfully generous person to offer these to me, I really do appreciate it. Rick
