| Thanks! Should have better pics this afternoon and more throughout the month. I'd really love to get one with some thunder clouds rolling in over the water for calendar submittal. Something like the pic below but better resolution on the car and more of an ominous scene in the background. Every year I fall further in love with this car, especially when I give it the full detail. A little 3M fine compound followed by Pinnacle finishing polish does wonders for the clarity of the paint. Pictures don't do it justice. I had a gentleman walk by while I was photographing and asked why kind of Buick it was. And he said it was dark as night. haha

| Can't get enough of this beast of the night. So hauntingly gorgeous. Definitely intimidating or threatening if it were to pull up behind me | |

| Rick: As you know, I have a certain affinity for chrome. However, there is a place and time for everything and I think you've found your place and time for black with the Riv. I see blacked out cars every day and quite frankly, I say, " What the hell are they thinking?" (Of course they probably say that about me as well). However, your car is an exception. The Riv is perfectly suited to the blacked-out Batman look and you have pulled it off with style. KUDOS | |

| Have you thought about doing a matte black treatment on your interior and ditching the wood grain? | |

| Or how about a carbon fiber dash kit? Sherwood sells them. That would look pretty cool! | |

| I kinda like it with the jag-type classy interior. My car has the pseudo bling exterior with a flat black stealth interior. Opposite of yours. Mine feels more luxury outside n racer inside. Yours inverse. It makes for a much cooler change of perception between looking at it and then peering inside | |

| Wow! What a beautiful car and beautiful scenery! Do the smoked headlights affect night time driving at all? | |

| Thanks guys! Looking forward to putting up more pics. Light output is fine. I have 35W HIDs in there so there is plenty to go around. Most of the darkness you see on the lights is from painting the non-forward facing chrome inside the housings with semi-gloss black. There is a very light coating of tint on the outside with clearcoat over that. | |

| I LOVE the first picture! And probably one of my favorite Riv's ever. If I had money to get nice black wheels, you can bet I'd be your twin, Rick. | |

| Gotta say, I liked the chrome lip on the wheels. That and shaving the trunk emblem all together are the only things i'd do differently. Other than that, this ride is tip-top. Always wanted to see more shots aside from your sig photo. Thanks!
Have you changed the interior at all? Is the wood grain trim still running the space? | |

| Rick, I am a fan of your Riv. It's probably in this 15 page thread somewhere, but... What did you use to paint the chrome trim, like around the grille and wheel wells? | |

| Rick, your cars are seriously some of the sickest GM cars I've laid eyes on - beautiful pics! I aspire to black out my future cars now | |

| Still the light wood trim on the interior. It just breaks things up well and keeps everything looking warm. I used black primer for all the trim pieces that are matte finish. It worked perfect. Holds up very well and I haven't needed to touch it up at all in 3 years. Thanks again!! | |
