- Hmmmm... If it's definitely not the tires then it's gotta be something else suspension related. I assume you've looked at all the common culprits (ie: inner/outer tie rods, axle, CAs, hubs, etc)? Balance makes a huge deal. If you are going to a bad shop, they may never get the balance right. So, that could still be your problem. Some tires never balance correctly without road force balance (there's a special machine that does it). The common static balance doesn't always correct vibration issues. It's been a long time since I last played with that kind of stuff so I'm a little rusty. If I can help, let me know.
Thank you for the offer to help. You could help tremendously by selling me the 18" wheels and tires. I'll even consider to add a few extra bucks to sweeten the deal. When can I come down for the swap.? Huh, when.? Huh, soon I hope. Your an awfully generous person to offer these to me, I really do appreciate it. Rick

LOL about the winter beater idea. I just couldn't let that happen with this car. Everyday I drive it, I fall more in love with it. Definitely the most cushy ride of any car I've ever had.
The wheels were such an incredible deal on craigslist, I couldn't pass them up. $400 for them, tires, mcguard lugs, locks and key. They are in perfect condition and the tires have 2000 miles on them. Seemed like a no-brainer to me when the stock rims needed new tires anyway.
I'd like to lower it but don't want to screw with the way the car rides over bumps. I don't know if there is a lowering spring/strut combo that would give me the ride I'm looking for.
Can't wait to tint the windows. It's just a gorgeous car. STS springs for I think the '99 might get you the lowering/rate you are looking for; you will also want the STS or Addco sway bars (they are stouter) and the strut tower brace most likely. There will be a clearance problem with the hood and the master cylinder if you decide to add the STS strut tower brace. Albertj

I just paid more than that for tires that were supposed to correct a vibration issue and didn't. I needed a deal like that instead. Now I still have 16" ers and a vibration. F___K I'm getting very tired of this ride. I'll sell or trade for PAU. UNderstand your anguish. Have had that problem in the past. Finding a shop with the Hunter GSP 9700 will most likely set things right.

| Those rims look great! Black/chrome is a perfect choice for a black car, gives some ideas for my car, too. Blackened headlights are awesome too, unfortunately SO illegal here | |

| [quote="DEMonte1997"] Found an amazingly easy way to get old tint off without removing defogger grid. I need to remove mine so I can get it retinted. I know the rear defrost element is very fragile. ok fill us in how you removed the rear tint. | |

| Fabric steamer. Amazingly easy. Follow this write-up.
http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-remove-car-window-tint%3a-the-not-messy%2c-chea/
Took me 20 mins for the rear window. No glue residue.
DISCLAIMER: I had the window tinted 4 days previous so if your window has been sitting for years, the glue might be a little more difficult. Just follow the write-up and be patient. The steamer really does a great job loosening up the adhesive.
