| I you paint it black, won't it just be a blank, black ellipse? I think that would look odd. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| looks very nice! i dont recall there being any rule about being ROTM before a calender nominee. I'll start taking pictures this july for the 2011 calendar. all you have to do is send me a few HQ pics (provided they follow the rules) and then it goes to a vote _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. Yeah, I was under a false impression that the ROTM people automatically got in. Either way, I hope I can get in the calendar. Figure I'll have better pics yet, in the upcoming months. | |

I had the same idea that the 2 were related when I was encouraged to submit my car for next year's calendar.

| I'm thinking about possibly delaminating the symbol in the back (if that's possible) and painting it flat black. We will see. The way it looks now is pretty good so who knows.
Thanks for the compliments everyone. Love this car. It even got a lot of fanfare over on ClubGP and I don't think most of those guys are Buick fans. lol

I like this idea. You could even do this and then have the R painted gunmetal or something, so it still stands out but is in line with your black-out theme.

| Do you want a nappy head of hair too. Everything is doable, just need to spend a couple of bucks and quit whining. | |

| Hey Rick, the platic "R" on the trunk key hole cover comes off if you push out on it from the inside. I wouldn't push on it too hard though incase your factory glue is still holding on strong cause it could crack . Mine was loose a while back and it nearly fell off, so I secured it with much stronger glue than what the factory used. Once you get it off, what you do with it is up to you. | |

| I'm taking that rear "R" off again tomorrow to see what I'm dealing with. Will post pics when I accomplish something different with it. | |

| This looks great. I have been thinking about a 99 in black and then add the Charcoal interior from a 95. I like all of the tinting as well. I am thinking that I would want chrome on the outside of the grill and tailight with a silver pinstripe 1" below the top of the side to accentuate the elegance of the body. I used a $8 roll of pinstripe on mine 5 years ago. It has held up and helps define the shape.
Inside I would add a red-ish woodgrain and a 2 DIN stereo/Nav unit to the black interior.
