Those stock wheels, sure are ugly!!!

Rick: I love your car, BUT...I think it looked much better with the other rims. Of course everyone has a different opinion and I'm sure it looks different in person, AND... I'm an old schooler who still loves chrome.

I agree about the car looking a little odd being all black now. I like it but would see how a lot wouldn't. Especially given the subdued look of the stockers. I think it looks a little more menacing/military now. Good look for the winter in the northeast at least.

I like it with the stockers...I just like the others better.

Looks sick, you should take a picture in a parking lot at night from a good distance! Maybe get a spot away from the light and go all out on a photoshoot...

I finally blackened the rear Riv medallion this weekend. You all know how it looks stock. I pulled it off the lock mechanism, stripped it and then painted it. The paint process was a little involved but I like how it turned out. Definitely matches the theme better. Some cell pics I just snapped. Apologies for the filthy car. Hope to have it clean in a few days.

The lock mechanism is held in with a metal flap. You can picture it better if you open the trunk and look underneath to see what I'm talking about. You just bend that flap back and pull it out. It needs to be disconnected from the power and whatnot but overall very easy to do. For the emblem task, you only need to pull the medallion off the lock piece. The lock piece never leaves the decklid. It is held on with some glue.

Looks great Rick, nice job. I've opened it up myself once and touched up the "silver". It really makes a difference when that emblem is clean.

Painted the 18s. Halfway done with detailing (slow going with crap weather here). Should have a few better pics this weekend after everything is finished.

Rick, that looks great! I've pondered having my stock rims stripped and painted something besides silver/gray... whatever you call it. Black would really stand out with my BWD paint.

Took some pics at the beach today. Will probably get some more in the coming months. The weather was iffy so the exposure is a little odd. Also a parody pic at the end.
