| Brian-They are SLP 17x7s. Not many made from what I've seen. ClubGP seems to have a few members with them. I lucked out and got them from a local Regal guy. Nice rims big 1" lip on them. I've been happy with them.
Thanks for the comments guys. Hope to not get harassed by the cops for this blacked out rig. :/

| Little bit of a quandary here. The Riv is currently blacked out totally except for the polished aluminum on the rims and the Riviera symbols up front and in back. I even removed the supercharged symbol, painted it flat black and reinstalled on the back decklid. Looks good. So do you guys think I should go all the way and paint both Riv symbols black as well? I like the R up front but not a fan of the trunk keyhole version. Here's a better pic of it head on: So I'm looking for suggestions from everyone here. Right now I'm leaning towards just leaving the front emblem alone and making sure the rest is blacked out. | |

| I don't know how you get away with the blacked out lights, but it looks great. The only thing left is to tear out the interior and replace it with the early black interior... But seriously, you have to leave SOME homage to the Riviera nameplate/logo. I'd say that the grill and trunk ornaments are the last, mystical items to leave in place. | |

| Agreed, leave the R's on the trunk lid and in the grille as they are, black everything else out. As for the wheels, I think it would look better if you blacked out the center caps but left the rim silver. | |

| Imo the frt grill looks good like you have it.As far as the rear decklid/key hole cover plate I don't like the way it looks on my black riv either. Maybe you can remove it and black it all out except for the "R". Just an idea because everything else you have changed so far looks stealth! Very custom one off beauty. Keep up the good work. | |

| even though im sure you already know what ill say .... i always wondered about painting my hood ornament black to match the grill, but was unsure for the longest time. i ended up painting it and never wanted to change it back. i say finish the murder job, you have no idea what i would give to have my car black you should take advantage of it by the way, that car looks meaner every time you post a picture, nice work! | |

| Thanks for the feedback and the props! I'm leaning towards painting the "Rs" front and back gloss black and the base of them flat black. That should pretty much complete the look. More pics to follow hopefully by the weekend as long as the weather holds up. | |

| i cant wait to see what it looks like, its really amazing what a small thing like that getting changed can do to a car though, i think it will look sick. meanwhile, do you have any rear end pics that show the supercharged emblem you did? | |

| Personally, I like badging on a car, they add points of interest aside from the bodylines themselves, but in your case..... I say make it all black, it would look wicked. This way the dominant appeal becomes the shape itself and people will say, "what kinda car is that"? | |

| I like the "R"s left chrome. I think painting them might be going too far. Just my opinion. | IMO, leave the chrome R on the front, and "shave" the trunk lock off. Looks bad ass | |

| LOL at Eldo!!!!!!!!!! That was awesome-totally my laugh for the night. I really like the photoshop at the end of pg6 (thanks to BMD for that) . Looks about right for this car but I also want to leave a little more Riv heritage in there so I'm hoping the gloss black on the Riv symbol will work. :/ Thanks again for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it. | |

meanwhile, do you have any rear end pics that show the supercharged emblem you did? Tyler, Totally forgot about this. I'll snag a pic and post it up tonight. It's not fantastic and now that I look at it, it might be a tad crooked. Still better than when it was stock.

| Here's a pic Tyler. Sorry that took so long It doesn't look that bad the more I get used to it. The chrome R back there really needs to be black I think though.. edit: Brian-The black chrome idea sounds great. Not sure if I could pull that off with the back piece being laminated (like Aaron said). I might try to mask the "R" on that and see if I can paint everything around it flat black. Just seems like a huge hassle though :/

| I think the Ultimate solution the R on the trunk is to have it shaved and filled in. I think that looks very good on the Riv's that I've seen it done on. It cleans up the whole back of the car and even though it is such a small thing, I think removing it has a dramatic effect. There are a few on here for reference. I would find out how much that costs and budget for it and in the mean time you can paint it black and see how that looks also. Heck you can always remove the paint if you don't like it. | |
