| Just a reminder, the 2014 ROA meet is being held in Colorado Springs, CO, June 24 thru 27. Hope some of our Riv Performance members will be attending. I'm driving my 92 Riviera to the meet...MA to CO estimated at 2060 miles each way. | |

| I know there are others on the forum that are going besides Dave and I, but not too many, I don't think anyway?!?
I'm going, not driving though, can't get that much time off all at once! It must be nice not to have to worry about getting the "time off", maybe one of these days?
This will be my first meet without a Riv! Should give me more time to visit and be able to look at some of the other Rivieras for a change? Of course I'm sure I will be busy enough even without a Riv there.

| Early Bon Voyage to Dave, Randall and others "tripping" (no pun intended) to Colorado Springs Colorado for ROA 2014. Of course pictures will be posted to ROA's "Riview" eventually. But it would be nice to see some sneak peak pics posted here! hint hint | |

Is the Silver Arrows the only Rivieras you are interested in seeing?!? This year they will be in their own class, at least three coming as of right now, so to give the other '95-'99s a better chance with the voting they have been separated for a change.

That is a great improvement for the 95-99 class. I also like the new separate "trailered" class...gives the "driven" Riviera's more of an equal playing field!

Not a separate class, it will be a block to check on the vehicle ID card just to let members know if it was driven or trailered. From the ROA site ... "Trailer Cars – Cars that are not driven to the meet will be identified as such on their window cards."

| Thanks Randall for the clarification on the trailered Riv's. I should have paid closer attention to the ROA web site. Sorry 'bout that... | |

| Received word from ongoing ROA 2014 meet, that Ship (Dave Shipman) may have won the Hard Luck Ribbon/award for his beautiful driven 92 having transmission failure 150 miles out from Colorado Springs. Ship planning on SHIPPING her back to Weymouth, MA. for fixing/rebuild/replacement as he flies back after meet. To bad Dave, better to have won that award with a flat tire while rig is lined up for show! | |

| I didn't get to talk to Dave today but I am sure he had made all needed arrangements to get his car home and get it repaired. It was too bad it/he didn't quite make it! No hard luck award for the ROA Meets, probably should be but there isn't! And, even with it being towed the last 150 or so miles Dave's 2060 miles didn't quite get him the long distance award! There was another member that came from SC that drove 2080 miles, it was definitely close though! Anyway, here is a teaser picture, I didn't get a chance to post any while there as I was pretty busy. As Dave mentioned a few posts above the Silver Arrows were in their own class this year, four of them in attendance, a couple very nice too. Here you go ... I'll try and add a few others as time permits. | |

| Made arrangements to ship the 92 Riv home. Car carrier to pick up Monday (6/30) evening CO time and deliver to MA by Thurs/Fri. I flew home Saturday (6/28) so my Riv is all alone in the hotel parking lot until Monday evening. Transmission is fried. For me, this year's meet will turn out to be a BIG $$ meet! | |
