Short exhaust / side exhaust Empty
PostSubject: Short exhaust / side exhaust   Short exhaust / side exhaust EmptyMon Jul 28, 2014 10:03 pm

In the history of gen 8 Rivs, has anyone made a short exhaust or a side exhaust for their Riv? If theres another name for it, please let me know.

But an exhaust that basically ends before the middle of the car and dumps out the side or under the car?

Reasons, being... people try to imagine cut outs in the rear bumper for mufflers or whatever, I think the back skirt looks best with no exhaust showing at all.

I also think their would be weight gains (reduction) to be had by hacking the dang thang off.

What do you guys think?  study poop

I thought about it when I was doing mine. I scrape enough as is already so any lower and I would just rip the whole thing off. That's why I want F41/FE3 springs instead of the STS lowering kit. Plus I thought about how it would look... no.. just no.

Andrew! NICE! That's it!

I would love to take it so far as to mod the rocker panel to fit the exhaust tip nicely.

But this is exactly what I was looking for. Really considering doing it to my Riv.

Met up with Tyler yesterday and he seemed bent on hacking his exhaust off completely. Might be something for pyscho sex man to consider too.
