| I need to replace the fuel pump on my 96 Riv without the SC. I did call the local Buick dealer and they asked for the VIN # in order to get the right pump. There are none in Maine. I went online and want to purchase the assembly but it troubles me that they are not asking the VIN #. Then on another site they list the 96 with a footnote that says " K naturally aspirated". What does that mean? Is the K part of the VIN #? Help! I really need to replace this unit but I don't want to buy the wrong one. | |

| K is the 8th Vin digit. It's the Engine Code for "Naturally Aspirated". Vin 1 is "Supercharged".
Vin K is what you have...

Verify that your 8th Vin digit is a "K", then order that pump, yes
