| hello...have 98 riv. looking for a leak under the main pulley axle area and I noticed a unconnected sensor. the plug in is right behind the pulley..have no idea what this for..or how long this has been unconnected any help would be appreciated...thanks | |

Ummm....that's the Crank Sensor, and no idea how your car is running without it plugged in. | |

| Down there, could be the oil pressure or knock sensor as well. There is also a connector for some of the variable assist power steering systems in that area. | |
