There's a big wire harness pass-through that's fairly easy to get into on the passenger side.
I tried to edit this pic with an arrow but it didn't work for some reason.. stupid photobucket. anyway it's where all the wires are coming out of. You remove two flat nuts and then take off the plastic cover. Inside, just remove the one lower foot panel on the bottom of the dash held on by two 7mm screws and you have access. You can add any wiring/hoses you want there without needing to drill anything or use additional grommets and stuff. Here's what my wiring port looks like after you take off the plastic shield. I took off the 4 bolts securing the plastic panel and it's not budging. Has anyone removed this piece? I am currently digging through the service manuals for more info | |

| I removed that from the parts car I stripped down but I don't really remember if there's something more to it. What I did to add my wiring and 1 hose was just push it through the round grommet on the bottom for the main battery cable. Now that I'm lookin at that photo album... You may actually have to pull back that black sound deadening mat under the carpet that lines the whole firewall. I remember that being a pain in the ass. Here's a LINK to the tear-down album in case it has other shots that can help. https://s31.photobucket.com/user/CODITHsaves/library/1998%20Riv%20Teardown | |

| I checked out that round grommet on the bottom for the main battery cable but it didnt seem like anything was getting through without pinching the hell out of it.
Do you have a pic of how you got yours through? Did you have to cut anything? I just cant see how you can get anything more through that rubber grommet.
Thanks for the pics, Cody!

| So this is how I made my entrance from the engine bay to the cabin.. No idea how this happened. Wide band cable got a nasty cut. Wasn't really a problem because I had to cut the cable to get it into the cabin and rewired the plug once it was inside. | |
