I like him! The Riv's condenser is pretty small, but have never tried flushing it. A new condenser is about $60. I'd just replace it if installing a new pump. Good info to know!

I love everything ETCG does (even if his voice puts me to sleep for no apparent reason). Back to the subject at hand, while cars are being made more efficiently than ever I doubt that concept applies to every last new car out there.
