Not happy now need help Empty
PostSubject: Not happy now need help   Not happy now need help EmptyTue Feb 16, 2016 12:57 pm

Making a 5 year story short, my neighbor 2 doors down is a Jackwagon and we have gone round and round for 4 of the 5 years. Well I moved the riv from the right side of the street to the left which is right in front of my house. Well After moving it I gave it a quick once over and there is now a fist shaped dent in the front fender. I know my car isn't perfect but a fist shaped dent is uncalled for. there is a 94 riv in the junk yard and the fender is in great shape. Is there any big or little differences in fit between a passenger fender from the 94 and the 96 which mine is?

BTW the jackwagon 2 doors down hates me because I am a vet and don't deserve to live in "his neighborhood" and "all vets should rot in hell" he's a class act. mad mad mad There is a line between being a Jackwagon and being a criminal and I am pretty sure he just crossed that line.

Ill post pics later when not at work.

Well, they never made a '94 Riv, but all Riv front fenders are the same '95-'99.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. People like that deserve to be deported to let's say, Haiti, or Mexico. Someplace that'll make them appreciate what people like you have done, and protected. I would do everything in my power to make his life a living hell.....

ok I wondered. it was my buddy that said it was in the JY and I didn't even think about it. I was too happy that I found an intact bumper corner light where mine is cracked. looks like I will be going to the JY in 2 weeks to snag the fender.

Have you tried popping the dent back out with a suction cup? Sometimes it works. Also another trick is applying heat from a hair dryer and then quickly cooling the area down with ice or compressed air as used to clean keyboards will work if the dent isn't too deep. The paintless dent removal guys are sometimes more than the cost of a used fender!

I hate hearing stories like this. Grrrr...

Luckily, my neighbors have been really cool with street parking so we have no issues.

Regarding the fender - if the color is the same then go for it. If not, a PDR tech might be a good idea. Only in that I've found a few that will pop dents for like $25/dent. Couldn't hurt to ask a dealer bodyshop. Being that it's the fender, it's probably easy to get at.

Good luck!

Geez.. :/

Yeah, that's a pretty good sized dent. I wonder if the methods that Harvey mentioned may work. Might be worth a shot.

Regardless, I'd be ripshit about that.

I will try but looks like my roomies car got a boot dent in the bumper too and actually cracked it. This is obviously a car knowledgeable person judging by the location of the damage inflicted. so its either the neighbor himself or his good for nothing stoner of a son. I have no issues with people that function fine and use pot as others use alcohol but this kid is worthless. beyond mad at this point and trying to decide if its worth including the police like a buddy suggested just to have a paper trail.

Umm. Wtf man. You need to get the cops involved. Document everything. Try not to kill this man first. I would've lost my mind already.

I would get the Cops involved but they don't do sh*t. My house got broken into and 7k+ worth of stuff was stolen and their response was well u have insurance right... here is the police report just give them the case number and they will take care of you. The only item that they gave a f**k about was the fact that my gun got stolen. My ex-gf's best friends bf got caught pawning the ps3 across state lines which is an automatic felony but did they look any harder at her.... Hell no. She stole my narc pain killers and that wasn't followed up on. the only person that knew where a 2500 engagement ring was, was her as she had lived with me and that was the only drawer opened in that room and that was the only thing stolen. Must be nice to have a vagina and get away with everything short of murder.

little update called the cops they didn't do anything but hassle and all but ignore me. Took the taillight off the car in the yard but ran out of time to finish getting the fender off. the torx head bolts are really annoying to remove.
