| Today will be among the lamest 21st birthdays in history since all I'm doing is homework and then going to school 6-10 tonight and then I'm going to party/do homework for my class tomorrow morning On top of that, my great Aunt passed and we are going to be going to her funeral in MN instead of having an outting with many honeys. We are still doing that later though - it's just being postponed. On a brighter note, I just ordered an HP tuner from intense and paid every penny of $512 shipped. That will likely be accompanied by an EGR simulator new or used before I have to go for my yearly smog test. The EGR sim could be something that we pass around for the forum members if there becomes a need. I'll have it. | |

| Going to school and driving a nice car, that's cool. My son turns 21 next April and he's driving a POS '93 Ford Escort. He's been looking at my '99, but I don't think so. Anyway, Happy Birthday! | |

Isn't that how that one guy discovered time travel? I say go for it! You never know what kind of power you can make! Or what kind of gaskets you can blow...

| got the tuner! I'm pretty happy... like actually stupidly happy I'm just starting to figure it out. It's a pretty logical interface so far. I feel like I'm using Excel. | |

| Yo, Codith! Happy belated 21st birthday from 5 years ago!
Do you still tune with the standard HPT suite or did you upgrade to the pro version?
Wideband is a must for proper tuning, right? So we gotta go pro, right?

| Wow I didn't even realize this was my thread until I looked at the original post haha! Thanks for the birthday wish man! Anyway I just had my 26th last week some time. I don't really know what day because I was preoccupied with my friend's wedding and stuff.
I have my standard hpt sitting collecting dust in my toolbox since I bought Alex Theus's pro interface a long time ago. I can't really transfer my PCM license or anything so technically I can't edit tunes for my car with it but I have dhp too now so doesn't matter. And yeah I feel like I'd be pretty clueless without a wideband at this point.
If you're ok with taping into your EGR pintle position or A/C pressure circuits, you can cheat and log a wideband without analog inputs but it's very very nice to have.
