| Sounds like a wheel bearing, but I've replaced it (with a Timken), replaced CV Shaft, switched tires around, no difference. Turn left; noise. Turn right; no noise. Notice it more at low speeds than high. Could it be rotor or caliper? | |

Can you record it and post a sound file? Inspect your brakes.

| The brakes are fine. But, if it were brakes, why wouldn't the sound be continuous, not just on a left turn? There's too much other noise going on to get a good recording of the specific sound. | |

Because the rotor assembly moves when you turn, and puts "pressure" on the opposing brake pad. It's the exact same concept as a hub. Inspect your brakes. More importantly, inspect that little shield that hangs down behind the lower ball joint. I'm willing to bet it's touching the rotor.

| Ended up being a bad bearing on the left side, not right, even though the noise sounded like it was coming from the right. Thanks. | |
