| Hello, How are the driver's seats bolted down in our cars? I've looked at the seat bases in mine, even under the plastic covers, and I don't see any obvious bolts or studs holding them down. I do see some large rivets though. Thank you. Mikel | |

| The seats are bolted down on the rear of the base, one on each side. There are no bolts at the front. Once the rears are unbolted you tip the seat forward, unplug the wiring harness, and you lift the front of the seat to 'unhook' the front. It's quite clever, actually. But the bolts are under the plastic covers, yes.
I can't remember if the bolts on the rear are regular hex bolts or if they need a large torx bit. | |
