Hello dear Riviera enthusiasts from everywhere!

I just registered to this forum and I'm lookin' forward to interchange some information about 1st and 2nd Gen Rivieras with some of you guys! cyclops

Since more than two years I'm a member of the ROA (and the ROA Forum) and had the great opportunity to learn a lot from the guys over there. If interested, you can find me there under "Schmiddy"

I own a 65 Riviera who is not in a bad shape, but want to restore some parts.
I began with the interior wich is +/- done now. Next step is to to put everything in place again. Next step will be to renew the trunk, repaint the body with the original color "Midnight Blue" and rechrom all the "shiny parts". After that, my plan is to increase the performance of the motor while keeping it original, for that, I guess I will need a lot of informations from you guys! usa

We see us in the themes and meanwhile have a great day  3gears

Regards,
Schmiddy

Welcome aboard, we do have a member or 2 with knowledge of the older Rivieras, but this forum is primarily focused on the 95-99 model years. If you are in the ROA, you will find the members here with knowledge relevant to your 65, are in the ROA also. That club is truly a wealth of Riviera information over all of the model years built.

Hi Dave
Thank you very much for your warm welcome and also for the informations about this forum, good to know that you guys are more focussed on newer Rivieras! happy Well, I'm more interested in the first and second gen of Rivis, so probably I'll find the relevant information in the ROA.
Thank you anyway and have a great day!

Check out the Riviera forum on the Antique Automobile Club of America, linked above. Great information and conversation relative to first generation Rivs.

Enjoy your 65 !
