Motor mounts Empty
PostSubject: Motor mounts   Motor mounts EmptyThu Aug 13, 2020 9:27 pm

Hi I'm new to this forum and have been in contact with everyone I can think of about the issue and I hope someone here can help. I have a 97 riviera supercharged with a bad motor mount (not transmission mount). The part was discontinued by GM 13 years ago and never produced aftermarket. What can be done about it? Will a park Avenue mount fit? Please help

Google "motor mount rebuilding" Then make some phone calls.

Good info in this thread - Link

I would guess 99 and 97 are the same.  I'm sure AlbertJ will be along to help shortly.

Do what Larry said.

For a quick fix I would get a junkyard mount and I would find out why yours went bad -- if you maintain the transmission mounts, the motor mount doesn't fail IME (in my eperience).
