Any advice on the "crank angle relearn" procedure?
This question is not specific to my Riv, as I have a Park Avenue that I will be replacing the  Powertrain Control Module. Thanks.

I have the FSM procedure, but it requires the GM Tech II scanner/programmer... Do you have anything similar?

I have the OTC monitor 4000 scanner, which is a year older than the car.
I can not find anything in the manual for this scanner that lists the procedure.
Some place I read about a series of specific directions to reset the ECM while driving.
I can't find where I put this info.

Directions to do the relearn without a Tech II are in the service manual.

If you can get your hands on a Tech II the following should help
