| Eric did you stop at the Marathon at High School and Washington today? I saw a Riv come up beside me and turn right and then go in there and it was fucking sharp! Had blacked out tail lights, black wheels, and black paint. If it was you've got a badass Riv | |

| very nice ride! the wheel wells are nicely filled out, how many inches of drop do you have? did you go plus size on the tire? and with the suspension travel, any rubbing or bumping the fender problems? | |

| Thank you very much. I used the STS springs which were suppose to be a 1.5- 1.8" drop if I remember correctly. With the heavier Riv it was more like 2"+... at least on the back. I did go up one size on the tires to 225/35 which is about .5" larger in diameter. I had no problems with the rubbing except on the rear passenger side under heavy driving or with a full load but endend up shaving .25" off the inner fenderwell to take care of the situation. No problems since. | |

| No. not the Nightshade. I have seen that on several GrandPrix's and didn't like it... even with a clear coat on it it still looks a little off to me. I went with a charcoal tint film. You can find it at most window tinting places and is used for rockguard primarily. It has shown no signs of wearing even with a bath every 3 days. If it does start to wear, I can just peel it off an replace. | |

No camber kit. We did cut slots into the struts so we can pull the bottom of the struts in or out for camber adjustments. Even with very hard cornering I have never rubbed the fronts. Under compression the camber of the wheels suck in enough to clear the fender with no issues. [/size] - Quote :

A lot of trimming... let's just say they are not 5mph bumpers anymore. Granted they offer no protection other than to hold the bumper skin in place but I have the Bronco for the DD and only bring out the Riv for speciall occasions. | |

| Thank you very much. I did look at shaving the side moulding and even the fenderwell trim but after seeing Jack the R's sig with that done I felt like I still needed a line down the car to break it up a bit. That and I like the small amount of chrome trim around the windows and wheels. I spent alot of time looking at some of the photo shops that we have here on the site before making a decision. All in all, if I did it again, the only difference would be me shaving the gas door. I am happy with everything else. Thanks again. | |
