picked up some rims for the 255 50 16 MT Et streets now just need two decent tires for tuning it on the road...

yes we got video of the drive unfortunatly the camera memory card was full by the time we pulled it out onto the street lol

next time guys i'll make sure he takes the pics of his daughter off the card first lol

on a side note we hit 80 mph without even trying....heheh we even got a second chirp outta the tires on a 20-25% throttle 18 mph 1-2 shift

we scored a new aeromotive fuel pump controller (i dont know how but eric found it brand new in the box for 230$!) since the weldon was severly taxing the OE FP speed controller which feed the OE surge cannister pump as well as the weldon (blew a 20 amp fuse the first day, and took a long drive recently to blow the 25amp fuse... we needed to fix that badly

right now the OE pump is controlled by the OE controller and the weldon 2035 is taken care of by the aeromotive speed control.

still sorting out the last trans issue, the TCC release pressure manifold switch....without it when the PCm comands TCC lockup (normally the switch will ground the signal wire ) it wont see confirmation of TCC apply/release and will disable TCC and set certain "limp" conditions... so i just raised lockup speed to 255mph till i can figure out another black box workaround....

shitty part is to get his registration he has to pass emissions, to pass emissions his drive cycle testing needs to run/pass. lovely how there's that nice huge wall that the idiot lawmakers made...

the state trooper lady was cool, she let eric go with a warning lol
it was bad though, al and I were in his 04 GP GT turned GTP to keep eric from getting pulled over...we stopped her from getting behind him the first time but she pulled over after the toll booth and straightup signaled us to get off erics ass and then the lights went on lol

we are so lucky eric's whole aim was for steady speed cruising for the evap leak tests to run...otherwise it coulda been a speeding ticket lol

the 235 traction ta's are better than the bald OE tires lol once its tuned and nicER out eric will be putting the 255 et streets on

btw eric csaid that was ~50%$ throttle and he didnt go far over 4000rpm

still trying to get the OBDII drive cycle test to run/pass need to try some mode6 schtuff on the mt2500

whelp the OE exhaust is going away... (the only stock thing left! lol)
we are just plain getting too much backpressure...even at idle.... we go from -16 ltft with the cutout closed to +1-2% ltft with it open...thats at idle!!!
so i got one of the mustang guys that i'm building a full boogie 306 for(trick flow heads,cam,intake/vortec blower/plate& direct port nitrous) to give us his old 3 inch flowmasters and some tubing for 60$, ordered some 180* mandrel bends, and its time for the whole exhaust system to get done, one shot rework and then be done with it (aka do it right the first time) so the PS header xover, and y will be welded to gether, the PS 3 bolt DP flange will be cut off the flex/Y and flipped so the 3 bolt flange is at the flex section giving us ~4 more inches to put the 2.5" DMH electric (converted to manual with a cable) cutout directly in the downpipe pointing down before the flex sections restriction.

it sucks this backpressure is keeping us from getting a good tune and therefore preventing us from doing a full drive cycle....

besides the lifters and lifter guides and crank/rods its the only other major stock component left

its not the codes, its the non continuous montors that need to run/pass (ie drivecycle testing) to pass emissions,

yer guess is as good as mine... it has at the least a 50/50 chance... he problem lies in that one portion of the drivecycle test requires 75% throttle, and we lack the time to tune more as well as the exhaust causing kr from the restriction.

not to mention the tires breaking free alot at just 50% throttle...

Too bad that this beast is first running at the worst time of year for fast driving. I CAN'T WAIT TILL SPRING!!
