| My old car didn't have a stereo when I bought it. So I put it down there so that in the future I would have room to put a screen up top. - 98riviera98 wrote:

| Anyone have a decent writeup of the PacSwix install? I think it's called something like that, it's the device that can interperet the SWC so you can use them in place of your remote and the heater controls still work that way. | |

| i can tell you how to program it, but i had a shop wire it in. it's not that hard tho, just tap into the green power line on the GM harness and use that to suply power to the interface. ill post a new topic with ins. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | [quote="oldsman105"]My old car didn't have a stereo when I bought it. So I put it down there so that in the future I would have room to put a screen up top. What's in the hole where your stereo originally used to be? What is the "screens" function? It fills the hole well and it looks nice. My Panasonic doesn't set flush with the dash and I'm thinking about cutting into the wall behind the dash to allow the stereo to fit better. I thought about moving it. But, I couldn't find anything to fit that dimension (original stereo location). | |
