| I'm a traitor for picking the Riviera as my first car and sticking with it for two and a half years. I'm a traitor for putting on a 4" intake and taking the extra time to make it a true FWI. A traitor for making a writeup on how to install HID's. For taking some of the most artistic pics I've seen so far of a Riviera. For putting 15,000 miles on my very first car and loving every one of them.
If that makes me a traitor, all of you are Benedict Arnold.

| I think I'm all done with the Baby Blue, Dual pinstriped, with mufflers that look like a 10 year old installed them.
And, OH, you forgot to mention to any potential buyers, conveniently or not, that the car was hit in the right front and the Right Fender and hood line do not match up anymore and probably never will (not without a good amount of time from a quality body man.)
It's always good practice to have full disclosure when selling a car on-line.
What if someone does travel a great distance to see your near perfect car and finds out you did not mention these things in the ad. Would not be good for you.

| When it comes time to sell your car, you have to tell the buyer that you've been farting on the seat for the past however many years too. | |

| Farts are one thing, twisted metal is quite the opposite and needs to be disclosed as far as i'm concerned, as well as anybody else that is interested in buying a car..
I'm not busting your balls here, I'm being honest about disclosure.

| As it turns out, Carfax says my car had a 'frontal impact' in 1999 under the original owner, 7 years before she sold it to the guy I bought it from. | |

So your hoping nobody pulls a Carfax report and doesn't notice the mis-alignment that you didn't notice until you bought the car.

| Sleazy used car salesman, they are everywhere.
But as they say in the business, "There's an ASS for every seat"

im sure people on here have had their rivs for way longer than two and a half years, and still love it. you act like nobody else built an intake before, and how much more time did it really take to make a little duct for a "true" FWI? my 8 year old cousin could install HIDs, want a cookie? and im not sure when the last time taking pics in front of a house, let alone your own, was considered artistic. im sorry but im with rick on this one, if you love the riv so much and its so great, why are you getting rid of it? by the way, i believe youre asking too much for it, its really not that great.

To be fair, this Adriatic Blue '95 is listed at $6,000... (By the way, Ilan, what happened to the original plan for the 4x4 truck - change of school?)

It's the fact that I loved the car enough to find this site and do everything I did with it. As we all did. But there are plenty of people who don't care enough about their cars to do anything with them other than put gas in and take it to a shop every now and then.

| i would say to just keep the riv. be different from all the sheep out there. be unique. from what I've read of your posts your riv isn't in that bad a shape. shes a 15 year old car! cut her some slack. so she gulps a little more gas than most. even by today's standards she is a miser compared to most cars on the road. and better than many in her class. once she is up to snuff, with any parts replaced that need to be,my guess is you will have more fun with the riv than any import. if you rolled up in a Jaguar,or a bad ass WRX or a Supra,yeah..i would say..great switch! but to give up the riv for a Civic? Nah!

| Thank you. I've enjoyed every day of owning this car, aside from the few where it had to go to the shop. The car is in excellent running condition and now it's someone else's turn to enjoy the Riviera. The people I have lined up to look at it love Buicks and one of them even had a Regal GS. I bought the best car I could as my first car, half expecting to sell it sometime soon, and now instead of 'downgrading' to just a Honda, I'll be upgrading in a sense that I'll finally be driving a manual car that's supposed to have some kick to it. | |

| its a wrap then. i can make a bet though...while in college..and after graduation..and into your new life as an independent adult.maybe a relationship? the riv would be ten times cheaper to maintain than a Honda.anyday! | |

| I plan on buying a 9th gen. Don't worry. Or maybe one of the new Regal GS manuals when they're used. | |
