Not electrical. It replaces the transmission shfit modualtor which controls trans fluid pressure.
You can adjust with the screw inside. | |

| no no i think on that other buickgs forum or whatever there was a thread on installing a resistor in the wire from the ecm to the pressure regulator in the trans that controls the pressure depending on the demand. | |

Yes but you have a 4t60E trans. the resistor mod is for a 4t65E trans found on 97+ rivieras. | |

| yeah but i think the 95 and 96 rivs have a different transmission thats vacuum modulated and not electronic. | |

| that will cause undesired shifting results. You need the modulator. | |
