I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the built in Universal Garage Door opener on the 99 Riv actually works.

No problem to program it.

i wish i could do it to mine but the previous owner decided to hot glue it shut , that old bastard

You probably already know but just in case...
There are tow kinds, one you open up and place the remote inside.
The other you program with your remote.

Is yours the one that has to be programmed, if so it wont open.
