PCM Fuse Security System Empty
PostSubject: PCM Fuse Security System   PCM Fuse Security System EmptyThu Apr 24, 2008 9:27 am

I pulled the PCM fuse the other day to reset it, then came back an hour later to head out. I forgot the fuse was in my pocket, turned the key, and nothing happened. Then I remembered, plugged it back in and everything worked.

If I were leaving the car for several days, and wanted to ensure the car wouldn't start for a thief, would there be a downside to pulling the PCM fuse for that long? On my older cars, I used to pull the center ignition wire on the distributer for the same purpose, but this is easier and would be less obvious, imo.
