I think what he meant was why put swap motors into that car when you can get the same body style with a series II supercharged.

No, only the supercharged models had the series 1 L67. The Naturally Aspirated had the 3800 Series 2 in 1995.

See, look no Supercharged Badge on the trunk Lid. Also why would you replace an Series 1 L67 with a series 2 NA?
