| SLP Headers finally installed as well as my FWI. Custom exhaust will be going in next week. Thankfully I have everything tightened well, no exhaust leaks. I did smoke a little after startup because of some oil and tranny fluid that dripped on the headers while I reinstalled the tubes. Big problem now is that my car backfires. Mostly at low RPM. I think I have a plug wire crossed. Am I right in thinking ;
Back of engine
cyl 2, 4, 6 (left to right)
Front of engine
cyl 1, 3, 5 (left to right)
Match number on coils to cyl and connect with wires?? | |

| I noticed the AC Delco coils I picked up from the dealer are unmarked. I suppose because they are sold as singles, not as a set of 3. I'll find a white marker and label them when I swap wires and coils, maybe in a couple weeks. Easy enough to look up in the manual too, but "RIGHT NOW", I would not know what post each wire went to w/o the numbers. (my first 3800) | |

| Took care of it yesterday. I was right, two wires crossed. 1 and 3 I am suprised the car ran as smooth as it did except for the occasional backfire. I have crossed wires on my last two cars and they did not run nearly as well.... Mr.Riviera,how do you keep that engine bay so clean!?!!? | |
