| Will try to get my profile updated with a sig.Just wanted to give a shout out too all on this site.I have been reading many topics relating to engine mods for around a month. Decided it was time to finally join! I have a 99 Riv,3.4 Intense mps,Intense fwi,Autolite 104s,Intense pcm,and a 180 t-stat..

| Was planning on doing rockers this winter.Are PEMS going to be a must at this point or do i have a little time on those? Sorry , I just realised that this is not the proper place to keep asking these types of questions.. | |

| There's a limit to what PEM's will do for you, as the OEM manifolds, esp the front, are really crap. The openings are partially blocked with casting material, that you can port out, but the main body of the manifold is waaay undersized. The rear manifold is not so restrictive, but isn't a great piece either. A Powrlog from ZZP is an option for the front, sort of an "in between" part, compared to the stock manifold vs headers. Lots of guys run the Plog on the front, and a ported rear oem manifold, or just go with headers. Not saying you can't go fast with front and rear PEMS, but when moving air efficiently thru your engine is the goal, the front is really restrictive. | |

| Actually, some headers will give you more benefits, but if all you want is the 3.4 pulley the rockers and PEM/PLOG combo will help nicely. If you want to go smaller you'll want better exhaust flow too. | |
