Hello all:
I have just joined. I am thinking about eventually buying a Riviera (95- 99) Have been planning on getting a summer car to drive and mess with Settled on these cars. I like the style and power etc. Great looking machines. I understand the reason for trying to get a series 2. (96-99). I am not going to buy for awhile so I have time to do some more digging. I guess somewhere on this site is stats on colors, numbers produced etc. My main question is when I do go to buy are there any particular trouble spots to keep an eye out for? I understand there were improvements made each year so the later year models ( 98 / 99 ) would be the ones to look for ? Anyway any links or info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

If you plan on modding I say look for '97-'99, they had a better transmission. I'm not sure if all '97s or only late '97s got that transmission.
If you just want a nice driver any of them will do!
