| I was digging around under the hood and noticed that someone had cut and spliced a wire on the ignition coil packs. This wire goes over to the fuse box; where the something for the ac as well as the 20 amp fuse for the horn which just so happens to be blown; resides. I being the ever anal retentive person that I'am disconnect it.  The car refused to start until I reconnected it. any Ideas on what this is and How do I go about fixing it? The fuse I went to replace and as soon as the fuse hits the metal the horn starts going off. Is this part of the alarm system maybe? | |

| This might be one of those "non-start security systems" you find with swap meet stereo systems.... | |

| do you have access to factory manual/wiring diagrams? Point is - my guess is that if you did it would nto be too tough to figure out where to look to find the short in the factory wiring.
